Before anyone says it if you try and install the .NET 4.5 download from the same location as App Center Windows 8.1 reports it is not necessary to install .NET 4.5 as it is already part of Windows 8.1 I never use any of the Gigabyte apps anymore as i find others are better. I installed the Gigabyte AROUS App Center and downloaded a few of the apps that I thought I should have. However, some of them I didn't download because either I didn't know what they did or they seemed to be more of a user specific app. I really don't want to load a bunch of useless apps that I will never use take up memory. Gigabyte App Center is a broken piece of crap and causes my GPU to lose output. Nice. Had more or less the same issue when I did directly download the App Center app from the related page. Using the version from the support section for my motherboard model did fix it for me. But I did revert to an older system restore point, to have a clean Gigabyte App Center not opening? I am using a GA-Z170X-Gaming on windows 10 home 64 bit and I cannot get the App center to open at all. The icon opens in the task bar and then closes after 5-6 second. If I hover over it I can see the app in the little preview window that appears but I cannot get it to open on my desktop.
